Music has always been a part of John's leisure time. He learned guitar in his teens and sang and played in two pop bands in a semi-professional capacity for many years. For twenty five years he was also a member of a church choir and singing group.

John met his wife Judy when they both sang in Bekesbourne Church Choir. They have two sons and one adorable grandson.

John worked for Seeboard for twenty eight years and in 1995 he set up his own electrical business and eventually took early retirement. Following this, he and Judy moved to a pretty country cottage in Biddenden.

After moving from the Thanet area, John really missed singing in a male voice choir and was delighted when he was invited to join Kent Police Male Voice Choir.

John has always had a number of interests; formerly singing with Thanet Male Voice Choir, golf, lawn bowls, gardening, model car making, riding his Triumph Thunderbird 900cc motorbike and DIY.

John, we're delighted you've returned to male voice choir singing, especially with us and our bass section.
